Harvest Celebrations
June 14, 2010
(list will be populated throughout the year as we learn of more events - please let us know when your celebration will be!)
FRB's community growing projects often culminate in a fall harvest celebration, usually consisting of a dedication or worship service, a farm potluck, and a chance for city kids big and small to ride a combine and experience first-hand a real farm harvest.
We invite you to visit a field day or fall harvest celebration in your area. Please consult the list below, arranged by state, then by city, and call or email for details. (Check frequently - we will add more celebrations as we hear from each growing project).
JOIN US AT ONE OF THESE CELEBRATIONS AND SEE WHY FRB PROJECTS JUST CAN'T STOP GROWING!
Note: in an attempt to reduce spam, we've replaced the @ in emails below with A: please just put the @ back in and try again!

Pigeon The Pigeon Michigan growing project is planning a unique event on August 10-11, 2010. The Michigan Association of Land Development and Tilers will be working to tile 30 acres of land which has been donated for several years to the growing project for their use by the village of Elkton. They expect several hundred people will attend the demonstration over the 2 day event and are planning to have an FRB booth and perhaps some presentations about FRB. Burt Keefer of the growing project leadership team is working with his group to arrange for this event. They extend this invitation far and wide.
